Samples, Cancellation and Refunds

What can be cancelled, what is refundable, and how claims on delivered goods are handled.

1. Paid samples

Samples are charged at the price shown when you request them, plus courier costs.

A sample request may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before despatch. Once despatched it is not refundable, because it has been made or picked for you.

If a sample arrives damaged, or does not match the specification you requested, tell us within 14 days with photographs and we will replace it or refund it in full, including the courier cost.

Where you go on to place a production order, the sample charge is credited against that order unless the quotation says otherwise.

2. Stock products

Unprinted stock products may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before despatch.

After delivery, unused stock products in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Contact us first so we can issue a return reference. Return carriage is at your cost unless the goods were faulty or incorrectly supplied. A refund is issued once we receive the goods and confirm their condition.

3. Custom and printed orders

A custom order may be cancelled without charge until you approve the digital proof or the pre-production sample.

After approval the order is in production and cannot be cancelled or returned, because it is made to your specification and cannot be resold. If you need to stop an order after approval, contact us immediately: we will tell you what stage it has reached and what costs have been incurred, and we will do what we reasonably can to limit them.

This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, do not match the approved specification, or fall outside the tolerances published in our Terms of Sale.

4. Faulty or incorrect goods

Inspect goods on arrival. Claims relating to quantity, quality or transit damage must be notified in writing, with photographic evidence, within 14 days of receipt.

Where a claim is accepted we will, at our option, replace the affected goods, rework them, or credit their invoice value. Nothing here limits the legal warranty of quality owed under the Civil Code of Québec.

5. How to make a claim

Use the complaint form on this website, or write to info@meouf.com quoting your order number. You will receive a written acknowledgement with a reference number.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Where payment was made by bank transfer we will ask for account details in writing before remitting.
